Eddie Fisher, a great singer of the 50's died at age 82. He was married to Debbie Reynolds, Elizabeth, and Connie Stevens which all ended in divorce.
He recorded and released Oh My Papa in 1954, one of Eddie's top hits.
I dedicate this song to the fathers and their children.
1
O my Papa
To me you are so wonderful
Oh my papa, to me he was so good
No one could be so gentle and so lovable
O my papa he always understood
2
Gone are the days
when he would take me on his knee
And with a smile he’d change
my tears to laughter
3
Oh my papa so funny so adorable
Always the clown
so funny in his ways
3
Oh my papa to me
he was so wonderful
Deep in my heart
I miss him so today
Repeat 2 & 3
O my papa, oh my papa
